Website and device information

Our website and its service providers collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, and interactions with the website. Cookies and similar technologies may be used for the purposes described in Section 4.

Information from placement participants

We may receive information from students, preceptors, schools, and clinical sites when they communicate with us about a requested placement, professional qualifications, availability, or placement requirements.

Section 02

How We Use Information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; assess student needs and preceptor suitability; identify potential matches; coordinate availability, school requirements, and placement documentation; administer payments and related transactions; and provide customer support.

We also use information to operate and improve our website and services, maintain business records, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, and record communication preferences. Where we send promotional communications, we do so subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

Section 03

When We Disclose Information

Placement coordination

We disclose relevant information to prospective or confirmed preceptors, students, schools, and clinical sites as needed to evaluate and coordinate a placement. For example, a prospective preceptor may need to know a student's program, requested specialty, and rotation schedule. We limit disclosures to information relevant to the placement process.

Service providers

We use outside providers to support functions such as website hosting, application forms, customer relationship management, business communications, payment processing, and technical support. These providers receive information needed to perform their services for us, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Legal and protective purposes

We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect people, enforce agreements, or protect legal rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. See Section 4 for information about website technologies and related choices. Mobile information and SMS consent are subject to the additional restrictions in Section 5.

Section 04

Cookies, Analytics, And Website Choices

Cookies and similar technologies help websites function, remember preferences, and measure visits and interactions. Our website uses these technologies for functionality and traffic analysis.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website features. Browser settings do not necessarily control information already collected or every form of tracking. Contact info@preceptorpoint.com with questions about website data practices or available privacy choices.

Section 05

Text Messages And Communication Preferences

When you opt in to text messages from Preceptor Point LLC, we use your telephone number and consent records to send the types of messages covered by your opt-in. These may include responses to inquiries, placement coordination, scheduling updates, reminders, and customer support. Providing a telephone number alone does not constitute consent to every type of text message.

Message frequency varies. Your mobile carrier may charge message or data fees. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@preceptorpoint.com. You may also contact us to update your communication preferences.

We do not sell or share mobile information, SMS opt-in records, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to providers supporting our messaging program only as necessary to deliver and administer that program, and where disclosure is legally required. Those providers are not permitted to use the information for their own marketing.

Text-message consent is not transferred to placement participants for their marketing purposes. See our Terms of Service at Terms of Service for additional messaging terms.

You can opt out of promotional emails through the unsubscribe option in those messages. Opting out of promotional email does not prevent us from sending necessary transaction or service communications through an appropriate channel.

Section 06

Retention

We keep information for periods appropriate to its purpose, taking into account placement administration, financial records, legal obligations, disputes, and security. Different types of records may have different retention periods. We may retain limited consent and opt-out records to document and honor your communication preferences.

Section 07

You may contact info@preceptorpoint.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to update communication preferences. Depending on your location and applicable law, additional rights may apply, including rights concerning targeted advertising or certain disclosures.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, transaction records, or other permitted purposes. We handle requests and any applicable exceptions in accordance with the law that applies to them.
