Section 01

About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to Preceptor Point LLC’s websites, placement coordination services, and related communications. Please read them before requesting or purchasing services. Where acceptance of a service agreement or these Terms is required, we will present that acceptance as part of the applicable process.

Your placement may also be governed by a separately accepted written service agreement and the pricing, payment, cancellation, refund, and guarantee terms disclosed for that placement. If these general website Terms conflict with a separately accepted placement agreement, that agreement controls for the placement, subject to applicable law. A later website update does not by itself change an existing placement agreement.

Section 02

Who can use our services

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to purchase or participate in our services. If you act for a school, practice, or other organization, you must be authorized to act on its behalf.

Provide accurate, current contact and application information. If an account is provided, protect its credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Section 03

What Preceptor Point does

Preceptor Point is a paid clinical placement coordination service. We help identify potential preceptors and coordinate communications, availability, and placement documentation based on the services purchased.

We are not your university, licensing authority, or clinical care provider. Universities determine whether a proposed preceptor and clinical site meet their program requirements. Preceptors and clinical sites are responsible for the professional services and supervision they provide.

Submitting an inquiry or application starts a review; it does not itself confirm a placement. Confirmation depends on the applicable service agreement, required approvals, and the arrangements made for your rotation.

Section 04

Student and preceptor responsibilities

Students must provide accurate program requirements, requested specialties, locations, clinical hours, rotation dates, and school deadlines. Tell your coordinator promptly about changes that could affect a match or approval.

Students are responsible for completing their university’s approval process and required documentation, credentials, screenings, insurance, and other school or site requirements. Do not begin a rotation until the required approvals are complete. Our coordination assistance does not replace your school’s requirements.

Preceptors and clinical sites must provide accurate information about qualifications, licensure, specialty, availability, supervision, and site requirements, and promptly disclose material changes affecting a placement. Preceptor participation and compensation are governed by the applicable preceptor agreement.

All participants must communicate respectfully, respond to reasonable coordination requests, and follow applicable professional, school, and clinical-site rules.

Section 05

Availability, changes, and placement guarantees

Matching depends on factors such as specialty, location, dates, preceptor availability, and school or site approval. Tell your coordinator as early as possible about your needs and deadlines.

A preceptor’s or site’s availability can change. If a proposed or confirmed arrangement changes, contact your coordinator promptly so we can assess the situation and explain the options available under your agreement.

Any placement, replacement, or money-back guarantee we offer is governed by the terms disclosed for your service and applicable law. These website Terms do not cancel or reduce an express guarantee or refund commitment. We do not promise a particular grade, graduation date, license, employment outcome, or clinical evaluation.

Section 06

Pricing, payments, cancellations, and refunds

Your applicable service agreement and transaction disclosures explain the service scope, price, payment schedule, and any cancellation, refund, or guarantee conditions. Review them before accepting or paying, and contact us if anything is unclear.

You authorize charges only as agreed for the services you purchase. Provide accurate billing information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. These general Terms do not create a subscription or authorize an undisclosed recurring charge.

If you need to cancel, change a rotation, or request a refund, contact your coordinator or email info@preceptorpoint.com promptly. Eligibility and processing follow your applicable agreement, disclosed policies, express commitments, and legal rights. These general Terms do not impose a new cancellation fee, refund deadline, or blanket nonrefundable-payment rule.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us so we can investigate. Nothing here limits payment-dispute rights provided by law.

Section 07

Calls, emails, and text messages

We use your contact information to respond to inquiries and coordinate services, subject to your preferences, applicable consent requirements, and our Privacy Policy. Providing contact information does not constitute consent to every type of communication. Marketing texts or automated calls requiring consent are subject to the applicable separate consent process.

When you opt in to Preceptor Point LLC text messages, the program may include inquiry responses, placement coordination, scheduling updates, reminders, and customer support, as described in your opt-in. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or email info@preceptorpoint.com. You may also communicate an opt-out request through another reasonable method. We honor requests in accordance with applicable law. A nonpromotional confirmation may be sent to acknowledge your request.

Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing our services. Opting out of texts does not itself cancel a placement or change an existing service agreement; contact your coordinator about another way to communicate.

We do not sell or share mobile information, SMS opt-in records, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Providers supporting our messaging program may receive that information only as needed to deliver and administer the program, or where disclosure is legally required, and may not use it for their own marketing. Message delivery can be affected by carrier or network conditions and is not guaranteed.

Section 08

Privacy and submitted information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information and how you can submit privacy requests. Review it at Privacy Policy.

Submit only information you are authorized to provide and that is relevant to your request or placement. Do not send patient records or identifiable patient information through general inquiry or application forms. Ask your coordinator about an appropriate process if a placement requires sensitive documentation.

You retain ownership of materials you submit. You authorize us to use and disclose them as reasonably needed to evaluate and coordinate your requested services, consistent with our Privacy Policy, your applicable agreements, and the law.

Section 09

Acceptable use and website content

Do not use our websites or services to impersonate others, submit false qualifications or documents, commit fraud, harass participants, infringe another person’s rights, transmit malicious code, disrupt systems, or access information without authorization.

Our website materials, branding, and designs belong to Preceptor Point or its licensors. You may view and use them for personal evaluation of our services. Other copying, redistribution, or commercial use requires permission unless otherwise allowed by law. Rights in your own materials remain yours.

Section 10

External services and website availability

Our websites may link to external resources or use third-party tools for functions such as forms, payments, and communications. Third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not mean we control or endorse every statement or practice of that organization.

We aim to keep website information accurate and available, but errors, maintenance, and interruptions can occur. General website information is not a substitute for your individualized placement agreement or professional, academic, or licensing guidance.

To the extent permitted by law, general website content and access are provided as available without additional implied warranties. This statement does not disclaim our obligations under an accepted service agreement, an express guarantee, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Section 11

Liability and third-party claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Preceptor Point is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services. This exclusion does not remove an express refund or guarantee obligation, excuse fraud or willful misconduct, or exclude responsibility or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including for gross negligence where applicable.

You are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable related costs to the extent caused by your unlawful conduct, intentional misuse of the services, or infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not require you to cover losses caused by Preceptor Point’s own negligence, misconduct, or breach. It applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer protections or other rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.

Section 12

Suspension or termination

We may restrict website or service access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it.

Suspension or termination does not automatically forfeit payments or cancel a refund right. Existing placement obligations, amounts owed, refunds, and any continuing responsibilities are governed by the applicable agreement and law.

Section 13

Governing law and resolving concerns

Please contact info@preceptorpoint.com first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This request does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or meeting a legal deadline.

Arizona law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you under other law. Unless applicable law requires otherwise or a separately accepted agreement provides otherwise, disputes under these Terms will be brought in courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Maricopa County, Arizona.

These general website Terms do not add mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Section 14

Changes and interpretation

We may update these Terms as our services or requirements change. The page will show the latest revision date, and we will provide notice and obtain acceptance where required by law. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively remove rights under an existing transaction or agreement.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not by itself waive it. Rights and obligations that by their nature continue after a service ends remain effective.
